Vanessa Brantley Newton Blog Talk Radio Guest!

Hi All, Proud sister strikes again! Ms. V is scheduled for a Blog Talk Radio Interview with Musings of a Muse. Hosted by; That Writing Chic! I hope you can tune in. Details are listed below. Enjoy! - 2Geechee Girls

Launching Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1PM EST is "Musings of a Muse" my new bi-weekly radio talk show where I interview writers/authors/producers/directors/actors to help others aspiring to do the same things! This is NOT a music show :)

My first guest is my good friend, the multi-talented Vanessa Brantley-Newton, whose latest book "Don't Let Aunt Mabel Bless the Table" is scheduled for release July 28th. Fresh from completing the illustrations for Tori Spelling's children's book "Presenting Tallulah", Vanessa shares with us her transition from hospital phlebotomist to adoring children's book author/illustrator.

My second guest this week is a former Viacom alumni, Steve Rivers. This comedian took on the task of writing, producing AND directing his comedy sketch show, which has garnered many hits on social media sites. Steve will walk us through the process and share with us his insights on getting gigs as an actor.

The show will air bi-weekly and alternate with an online newsletter of the same name, which will recap the show and give information on upcoming guests. Subscribers to Musings of a Muse online, will be the first to know of upcoming casting calls and tips on how to keep the wheels of creativity in motion!

Future guests already booked include:

Virginia DeBerry & Donna Grant, authors of the new release "Uptown"
Bigg Marv - cousin of MC Hammer and star of A&E's "Hammertime"
Tionna Smalls - author and co-star of VH1's "What Chilli Wants"
Mark Curry - former Bad Boy recording artist and author of "Sleeping With The Devil"
J. R. Jackson - His youtube show, J.R. Sportsbrief hit the one million mark in less than 12 months!

and many more!
